Three ways to work
with Verdua.
Each engagement is designed to be useful on its own and to connect logically with the next. Start where you are, not where a framework assumes you should be.
← Back to HomeHow we structure our advisory work
Verdua's services follow a natural progression — from understanding to planning to ongoing support — though each can also stand independently. We begin any engagement with a clear brief, agree on deliverables upfront, and maintain transparency about what the work involves at each stage.
We draw on GRI Standards, Bursa Malaysia's Sustainability Reporting Guide, and TCFD-aligned approaches for climate-related disclosures where relevant. Our methodology is adapted to the client's sector, scale and current level of ESG preparedness — not applied uniformly from a standard template.
Understand first
We assess the current state before recommending any direction.
Plan realistically
Priorities are set relative to your actual capacity and context.
Communicate clearly
All findings are documented in straightforward, usable language.
Leave you capable
Outputs are built so your team can operate them without our continued involvement.
Sustainability Baseline Review
A practical study to help an organisation understand its current environmental and social footprint and reporting readiness. We review available data, map relevant activities and identify where information is strong and where gaps remain.
You receive a grounded baseline summary and a shortlist of sensible first steps. Suited to firms beginning to take ESG topics seriously — no prior ESG work or specialist team required.
What the engagement covers
How we work through it
- 01Briefing call and document request list provided to your team
- 02Data review and activity mapping (internal Verdua work)
- 03Draft baseline summary circulated for factual check
- 04Discussion session and delivery of final summary with gap note
Best suited for:
Organisations with no prior formal ESG work, SMEs preparing for supply chain or investor ESG queries, and firms beginning Bursa sustainability disclosure preparation.
Best suited for:
Organisations preparing structured ESG communication to investors, customers or regulatory bodies, including those working toward Bursa-aligned sustainability reports.
ESG Roadmap & Reporting Framework
A structured engagement to shape a realistic sustainability roadmap and a clear, honest reporting approach. We help define priorities, set simple measures and outline how to gather and present information credibly over time.
The focus is on substance and transparency rather than appearances. Suited to organisations preparing structured ESG communication for the first time or formalising an ad hoc approach.
What the engagement covers
How we work through it
- 01Baseline data review and materiality scoping (builds on existing baseline if available)
- 02Priority-setting workshop with nominated leadership contacts
- 03Draft roadmap and framework circulated for review
- 04Leadership workshop and delivery of final documents
Sustainability Advisory Retainer
An ongoing advisory arrangement supporting leadership as sustainability initiatives take shape. We help maintain progress, review measures, and keep reporting honest and useful as stakeholder expectations evolve.
Decisions and ownership stay firmly with your team. We provide structured support at agreed intervals — not an open-ended consulting relationship.
What the engagement covers
How the retainer is structured
- 01Initial briefing to set scope, objectives and session cadence
- 02Ongoing review sessions with working notes provided after each
- 03Between-session availability for guidance queries
- 04End-of-retainer summary of progress and remaining priorities
